Building a Modular ERP & E-commerce Platform with Spring Boot Microservices
Problem
The business needed a unified system to manage inventory, e-commerce orders, and daily operations, but a single monolithic application was becoming hard to scale and maintain as features grew.
Solution
Designed and built a modular ERP & e-commerce platform using Spring Boot microservices with Eureka for service discovery, REST APIs for inter-service communication, and MS SQL Server for data persistence — letting each module be developed, deployed, and scaled independently.
Outcome
Replaced a rigid monolithic workflow with independently scalable microservices, improving deployment speed and system reliability while keeping each module easy to maintain.
